Woolton Group Chairman Andrew Whittle visited the Marie Curie Hospice in Liverpool to mark the latest donation made by the Masonic Charitable Foundation. For several years the national Masonic Charity has made a donation to each hospice in the country.

Andrew was pleased to make the presentation on behalf of the Masonic Charitable Foundation in the form of a cheque for £4,000. To receive the cheque on behalf of the hospice was Lucinda Ellison a member of the fund-raising team at the hospice and was very grateful to receive the donation.
The Marie Curie Hospice Liverpool was purpose-built, and offers a modern approach to care. Offering specialist care for people living with a terminal illness and support for families completely free. The in-patient unit has 30 beds, there is also a fully equipped day service department with some services offered in patents homes. Marie Curie Nurses provide free nursing care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes.
